Dr.strange love

The movie begins during the height of the Cold War. One crazed American base commander General Ripper, decides that communism has to be stopped at all costs and orders nuclear bombers into the air. In Washington, DC in the war room, the President and his staff including a colorful General Turgidson played by George C Scott contemplate what has happened.

Dr Strangelove is a World War III parody that illustrates how war protocols can go wrong, and how even the best of intentions can lead to the most disaster of results. Bomber pilots are depicted as cowboys, Genereals are depicted as mad, and leaders are depicted as fools. During the heart of the cold war perhaps there may have been some truth to these anaologies, and thats what makes the movie truly fun and truly funny.

Of mice and men

Of Mice and Men was a great film in my opinion, but it’s a film that you have to watch slowly. There's so much depth beyond the surface of the story, but if you're being forced to read it, its hard to see that, and its hard to enjoy it.

The classic John Steinbeck tale of two friends - George and Lennie - who wander the country during the Depression. Lennie is mentally retarded and doesn't know his own strength causing frequent problems for his companion George. An incident with a young girl leads to a tragic end for this classic American tale.

For the music, Of Mice And Men is undoubtedly Mark Isham's great masterpiece. This score is one of those rare ones that fit the picture so well you can't imagine experience the film without it. Written for an orchestra heavy on strings, and piano, Of Mice And Men is a strongly thematic score and very beautiful. I fell in love with the main theme immediately, a piano line over lush strings, music straight from the heart. A lot of the score is written for strings, and it's such a soaring, intimate work you'll never forget it.

Beachboys

I’ve just listened the song of Beachboys and I found out that one of Beachboys’s songs is used as the soundtrack of teenage movie (50 first date). Actually, I am the music lover and able listen all kind of music especially, blue, rock and roll, jazz, and heavy metal. Some of my friend always asked me why don’t I listen to rap music, pop music or even dance music like the teenagers does. In my opinion, I think I born to listen the oldie music because it’s so classy and nice.

Recently, the singles of Beachboys are being released to celebrate 40 anniversary repackage. The songs that contained in CD are very nice and also have many versions. Some of the song has including with duet.

I hope all you guy check this site out (http://www.beachboysfanclub.com/) and then u will see the real rock and roll

The wizard of OZ

What was the last wonderful movie you did watch? It’s been a long time that I never watched such a fantastic film like this. I heard about the name of the movie for long time but I never watched it. This film made me feel like I am a little child and I think it’s very interesting one. I really like the music “over the rainbow” because she sang very well.
Sir Clip Richard is the original singer of the song?????

I think this kind of movie encourage me satisfy with what I have right now. In the film, Can Man, Scarecrow, and Lion had asked for something that they never had before from the wizard of Oz. But actually everything that those of them asked for has already lie within their own. Also there’s no wizard of Oz, there’s just only old guy.

Dorothy also need the help of Wizard and believe that wizard can help her return home after swept away to magical land. She must follow the yellow brick road to meet the wizard of oz. Along the way to meet wizard, there’re a witch who want to take revenge and also want her beautiful shoe back.

Dorothy Dandridge

This movie forces me thinking about the discrimination between WHITE AND BLACK. Dorothy was a beautiful actress and she had a brighten future but unluckily she could not go longer in the Hollywood because she was black. I think if she were white, she would be very famous and do everything she could. Seeming like her black skin held her back and brought about the tragic story.

Halle Berry who acts as the actress of this film is really beautiful and has some part of life in the same way as Dorothy. She has the black skin and also achieved in the field of acting. I think Dorothy had a struggle life because she always relying on others to do business for her. She was really sad about her husband (Harold) had an affair with another girl. Also, she blamed her lack of sexual experience for Harold's wanderings.

Another sad thing in her life is about Lynn (a little daughter) because Lynn was not acting normally and was a very hyper child. In my idea I think she should not let others raising her daughter because children need cares and loves. Working at the nightclub help her get film in Hollywood, also she was offered many roles in some low budget film but she was really popular. One of the major role that she dreaming of was Carmen in the film of Carmen Jones. She was at good in the role of Carmen and also had a deep relationship with Premingo (Director). This film helped her be one of Academy Award Nominee.

About the loving story of her, she seemed really need the true love that she always asked for. She had a relationship with many guys but one of them brought the tragic to her. I think she too much believed in him because she thought that Denison really loved her but actually he just wanted money and took everything from her if he could. It would be the terrible mistake that happed in her life. At that period she was in the bad situation and didn’t know how to handle with the rest of life. She continued to drink heavily and took a drug and then she died because of overdoses.

The death of her is mysterious till now. She liked to please the audience so she performed very hard and scarified her own for film. Thus I think that if she were white, everything would be easier and she could do everything she like. She determined herself as the actress but never think about the realistic world. Anyway, I think she was a greatest actress I ever watch cause she sang and performed very well.

"singing in the rain"

In 1927, Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont are a famous on-screen romantic pair. Lina, however, mistakes the on-screen romance for real love. Don has worked hard to get where he is today, with his former partner Cosmo. When Don and Lina's latest film is transformed into a musical, Don has the perfect voice for the songs. But Lina - well, even with the best efforts of a diction coach, they still decide to dub over her voice.

In my view of point, This film, I think, can be considered to be the greatest musical of all time. I just LOOOVED it! Gene Kelly's magic feet dance to catchy Jazz-Age tunes, there are colorful musical numers, and superb comedy. Kelly is so happy, so graceful, it's a pleasure to watch. the title song is an icon of classic Hollywood. I want to say that here's nothing *wrong* with this movie, but I don't think it's one of the greatest musicals of all time either. (I'd rate My Fair Lady, West Side Story, An American In Paris, The Sound of Music, just to name a few, as far superior.) The plot is pretty thin and slow to move.

"The long gray line"

the title of a 1955 film starring Tyrone Power about the life of long-time United state military
academy instructor Mathy maher. Without ever having engaged in battle, an army hero's 50 years of assistance in West Point department greatly influences and helps shapes generations of military leaders. This includes his job-related experiences as well as his family life and the relationships he develops with young cadets with whom he befriends. Based on the life of a real person.

In my opinion, one of the finest of John Ford's films, yet surprisingly overlooked, this movie gives us both an honest glimpse into West Point and sincere characters to cry for and laugh with.
Tyrone Power and Maureen O'Hara make a charming match once more, and it's a wonder to me that Ty's sensitive and utterly believable performance in this film wasn't given more notice than it was. He was perfect all the way down to his accent, which I thought would surely slip, and it never did. Maureen's portrait of her character was poignant and gentle, with that spark that is purely Maureen. The death scene blows me away each time with it's simplicity and honest grace. They were quite a team, both of times they were together.

All the performances were top-notch, making me forget that i was watching a movie. I felt as if I were being allowed into sacred ground, welcomed with open arms by the memories of that proud place.

This is truly a masterpiece. Thank you teacher that u gave me a wonderful movie like this.

"The outlaw of Josey Wales"

It’s such an exciting movie I’ve ever seen. No doubt about it why this movie is accepted from the audiences. The sound of gun shooting has attracted me to watch the movie with out a break. Honestly, I can’t take my eyes of off any scene of the movie. The story of Josey Wales took place during the end of Civil War 1976. Josey and his family are living peacefully until one day the renegades burns his house and kill his wife and young son. After that he promised himself to take a revenge for his family and dedicated himself to join a band of rebel guerilla fighters who continue to flight the union. Joining a company of men led by Fletcher, Josey plunges himself into the Confederate cause.

After the official surrender of the Confederate, All action that Josey did force him legally and outlaw. As the day passed, his suffering does still exist in his mind. There’s never enough for him to heal his suffering. Terril continued to hunt him, so Josey was forced to flight again.

The movie shows us how Josey learn to live again. Also, staying alive is the matter of living in the world. To take revenge is not the key way to heal our suffering.

"Gettysburg"

There have been more than a few movies based on the US Civil War, but they lack one thing. That is of course a balanced historical perspective. Union and Confederate have different in point of view, then two great armies clash at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, where the turning point of the Civil War occurred from July 1 - 3, 1863. They fought on the American soil come to the scence in a powerful production.

Some of the most exciting scenes of the movie occur as the Confederate army marches long journey on what was later known as Picketts charge. All of Confederate army are attacked by union rifleman as they become closer. For the other relevant thing is focused on Longstreet and Lee's relationship as they have differing strategic opinions.

In additional, I 've just known that we can observe the scene of the movie at Gettysburg National Military Park, where lots of monument and cannon along the scenic roads. Also the batterfield of Union and Confederate is there!!!
